Jess & Ty Books ("we," "us") sells a guided love story journal. This page explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website or buy from us, and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you place an order, our payment processor, Stripe, collects the information needed to complete your purchase, and shares it with us so we can fulfill it:

Your name and email address
Your billing and shipping addresses
Payment details, which are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

If you email us or message us on social media, we also receive whatever you send, along with your email address or social media username.

How we use it

To process and ship your order
To send order confirmations and shipping updates
To answer questions and handle refunds under our 30-day money-back guarantee
To keep records required for taxes and accounting

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Stripe, to process your payment. Stripe's use of your data is covered by its own privacy policy.
Shipping carriers such as the U.S. Postal Service, which receive your name and shipping address so they can deliver your order.
Service providers that help us run the site and our business, such as our website host (Cloudflare) and our email provider.
Authorities, if we are legally required to.

Our website

Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and Google may receive your IP address. Our website is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard web traffic data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. We do not currently run advertising trackers on the site.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill your order, handle refunds and support, and meet tax and legal requirements. You can ask us to delete other information we hold about you, such as old emails, by contacting us.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing us at the address below. Some information, like order and tax records, we may need to keep for legal reasons.

Children

Our website and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
